Guidelines
I really appreciate your effort to provide files and feedback on time and to communicate within the times and days outlined above. Timeliness from both of us will help us get your project done on (or even before!) the deadline so you can move on to the next exciting task on your to-do list and I can cheer you on.
Communication
My work hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:30am–3:30pm. I will answer phone calls between those hours and do my best to reply to emails within 24 hours if you send a message outside of those days/times.
I reserve Mondays and Wednesdays for client calls, so please schedule your project phase calls on either of these days. If you need to schedule your calls outside of that window, email me directly so we can work something out.
I try my best to stick to these communication and work hour guidelines so that I can be fully present in my many roles.
Feedback
To help keep your project on track, please provide feedback on your brand story and designs within 3 business days of receiving them. I really appreciate simple and straightforward feedback. It helps me clearly understand your thoughts and make the right changes to your designs.
Here are a 3 tips for providing great feedback:
Try and use bullet points to break up your points.
Read everything over to make sure it’s clear, answering any questions I may have asked.
If you have team members that would like to add their feedback, gather their thoughts into one message. This stops everyone from getting confused and keeps the project organized.
I will send you a Google Jamboard link with your concepts. You can offer feedback easily in the form of digital sticky notes.
Payment
✓ 1st payment: You’ve been officially booked in my schedule with your deposit of 30%.
→ 2nd payment: 35% is due at the beginning of Phase 3.
→ 3rd and last payment: 35% is due when the project is complete before I hand over your final files.
If your second payment is late, I can put your project on hold.
We can restart the project at a later date, but a rescheduling fee of will be charged.
Your final payment is due 14 days upon receipt. If payment has not been made by the 14th day, a 5% interest will be added every 7 days until your payment has been completed, starting on the 15th day.

Phase 1: Your Brand Vision
Week 1
During your phase 1 call, we’ll review the answers to your questionnaire and chat about any outstanding questions you may have.
I’ll send you an email that includes:
a link to schedule your phase 2 call
the questions I’ll be asking so you can prepare
Phase 2: Your Brand Story
Weeks 2 - 3
My job on this call is to mainly LISTEN & gather the facts that will become your brand story. I’ll ask you things like, “how did you come to this work? what pivotal moments led you here? why are you passionate about this work?
During the 3rd week I’ll be crafting your story. You can expect for your story to be about 3 paragraphs.
Once you approve it, I’ll send you an email that includes:
a link to your Design Questionnaire
a link to schedule your Phase 3 call
Phase 3: Your Brand Style
Weeks 4-8
Our phase 3 call centers around the answers & gathered imagery you submitted in your design questionnaire. Based on all this, we’ll identify a solid visual direction that I’ll use as the conceptual compass for my design work.
I’ll get to work on your 3 main logo concepts and once ready, send you a Google Jamboard link for your feedback.
Your project includes up to 2 revision rounds for the logo portion. Once you choose a logo you love, we move onto building the supporting brand elements, including the card (either business or post) design.
In the final week of the project, I’ll prepare your final files that includes multiple file types (.jpg, .png, .pdf…) your style guide, fonts and also prep your business/calling card for the printer.
Once your last invoice is paid, I’ll send you an email that includes:
a link to schedule a video walk-through of your final deliverables
your final files (via a secure Dropbox link)
the playback of the video walk-through for future reference
